District TV Workshop Documentary Accepted
The South Canterbury Television Workshop has had a documentary film entitled "Orari Gorge 1866-1966" accepted for screen by the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation. The film will be shown on all channels at peak viewing time on a Sunday evening, in an edition of "Pictorial Magazine"
Workshop Begins First Trial Run
August 25, 1964 - Auckland's Television Workshop has begun its first production - a 20-minute fiction film entitled "The Punter". The first scenes were shot at Ellerslie racecourse at the weekend.
Debut for TV Workshop
